Alive!<\/strong> was the first live album of hard rock band Kiss, being one of the band’s biggest hits with more than 20 million copies sold to date. The double disc, recorded from March to June 1975 and released on September 10, 1975, was perhaps a watershed of the first phase of Kiss. This is because, despite the album Dressed to Kill, having as one of the tracks: “Rock And Roll All Nite”, the band’s biggest hit, Kiss was still just a promising band that could undergo some changes (as it would years later) or maybe even the extinction of the band could occur. The disc showed a very virtuous and mature Kiss, despite the short time on the road. With this double record, they have made their mark on rock and roll history. Initially, the double platinum was a break from Kiss for the mainstream and also contains the live version of the then world rock anthem “Rock And Roll All Nite”.<\/p>\n

Alive!<\/strong> sold so much that it changed the career of Kiss. It was more than 500,000 copies in the first week only in the United States (where it reached ninth position in sales) leveraging the band’s career and status among the big names in rock.
